Sound Design Contribution to New Yorker Radio Hour
A few months ago, our friend Valeria Luiselli and producer Pejk Malinovski came to town to write this story for the June 10th & 17th issue of The New Yorker. It’s so good, looking at the relationships between reenactments here in Southern Arizona, militia groups and immigration. The piece was then part of The New Yorker Radio Hour podcast, read by Valeria and beautifully produced by Pejk. Some sound pieces of mine are used in that episode! It’s a little contribution, but I couldn’t be more proud of those little manipulated tape loops and the story they’re serving. Go find the article or better yet, listen to the episode!
