In this work I was thinking through the deeply human content and environmental costs embedded in the tech devices we use everyday, and the intimate data and relationships we provide them.
Inspired by crying videos on Instagram, I invited friends and family to send me videos of their tears to bring together their digital and actual waters.
I made this work to explore the tension corporeal and digital materials and suggest the reassembly of the body as a messy, necessary fount of wisdom.
